Building Business from the Heart

“Building Business from the Heart,” is the theme for the Greater Brandon Community Foundation’s Business Group. Formed by local business leaders, the Group seeks to build strong trade relationships through networking among likeminded professionals. The Business Group is ultimately dedicated to making Brandon a better community in which to live and do business.
At the present time, the Brandon Foundation Business Group is undergoing a reorganization and a change of leadership. “We have listened to our members, and they have told us they want a more structured, accountable effort on behalf of the Business Group”, says new Business Group Managing Director Tom Brophy. “All of our current policies and procedures are under review, and we are looking to develop a suite of member only benefits to add additional value to our program.” Joining Tom on the leadership team are, Janet Noah Education Director, Jennifer Stuart Membership Director, and Sandy Lee Director At Large. Debbie Kirkland, Administrative Director of the Brandon Foundation, will serve as liaison between the Business Group and the Foundation Board of Directors.
Our purpose is to make the networking experience at the Brandon Foundation Business Group unique. We are striving not only to serve the needs of our members, but asking our business partners to use their time and talent in service to the community by supporting the activities of the Foundation. The Brandon Foundation Business Group meets the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 11:30. For additional information or a membership application, please visit the Brandon Foundation website at www.brandonfoundation.com and find us under About Us, Foundation Business Group.
