Celebrate the Fourth Annual Brandon Foundation Spring Coffee -- “Impacting Lives Over Coffee”
Bring your friends and family, host a table and
help families in your community
BRANDON, Fl -- The Greater Brandon Community Foundation presents its annual Spring Coffee, Saturday, May 7, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Bell Shoals Baptist Church, 2102 Bell Shoals Road, Brandon with proceeds to benefit the Brandon Foundation’s Angel Program.

Brandon Foundation’s Spring Coffee -- “Impacting Lives Over Coffee” celebrates and brings together the Brandon Foundation’s Angel Families who have received help from the Brandon Foundation Angel Program as well as the Angels and the Junior Angels, who have assisted families in need.
Chairwoman and Foundation Board Member Sheila Del Castillo said anyone can be a table host. “Bring your friends and family, host your table of 8 and have a lot of fun while you help the Angel Program,” she said.
Table Hosts can decorate their tables in any way they like and lunch, including coffee, will be served by Bell Shoals Church, according to event Co-Chairwoman Bonnie Pichette. “For all that, the admittance to the coffee is very reasonable,” Pichette said. “We only require each guest, including table hosts, to bring a minimum of $25 gift card. Whether it’s for groceries, gas or any other gift card of your choice, the $25 cards are used throughout the year to distribute to families in need, as they go through difficult times.”
The tables are decorated and themed by hosts who arrive at the event a little earlier. According to the Spring Coffee committee members, the event used to be for “ladies only” but it was “crashed” by a group of men a few years ago who decorated their tables with a “hunting” theme, the host and his guests dressed in hunters’ gear. “It’s open to men also,” said Del Castillo. “They challenge us ladies and come up with great ideas of their own. We received calls from men who want to host tables again and we welcome them, the more the merrier!”
The event will be hosted by the personable and versatile communicator, News Channel 8, WFLA-TV’s “Daytime” Co-Host Jamie Jacobs. Author and radio personality Angela Schaefers is the guest speaker who will address the guests with the theme “Every Day Hope.”

There will be a Chinese Auction featuring a list of wonderful items as well as chance drawings throughout the event. Sponsorships and table hosts for the coffee are still available. “On behalf of the Spring Coffee Committee and the Brandon Foundation, I would like to thank our Media Sponsor Osprey Observer,” Del Castillo said.
